United Concordia Dental covers families through employers and federal programs, and it is the company that administers the TRICARE Dental Program for military families. Hopscotch Children’s Dentistry in Concord accepts United Concordia Dental and is glad to help your child get the care their plan provides.
Yes. We are in-network with United Concordia Dental PPO plans. Using an in-network office generally keeps your costs lower, and we submit claims directly.
Military families: the TRICARE Dental Program (TDP) is a voluntary plan for eligible family members of active-duty service members and for National Guard and Reserve members and their families. United Concordia administers it, so if your child is enrolled in TDP, call us before your visit so we can confirm how it works at our office.
Preventive and diagnostic services, like cleanings and exams and X-rays, are usually the best-covered part of the plan, often at or near 100%. Basic care such as fillings typically falls in the 70–80% range, and major care, including a pulpotomy, is often around 50%. TDP and FEDVIP plans have their own published cost-shares, which we’ll look up for you.
Typical ranges only. Coverage varies by plan, employer and deductible.
Call (925) 254-4777 with your United Concordia ID or TDP enrollment details. We’ll check eligibility, cost-shares, and any waiting periods, and give you an estimate before treatment.
Moves, new schools, and new doctors can be a lot for children. We try to make the dentist the easy part: a welcoming office, a patient team, and clear explanations for kids and parents alike. If your family is new to the area, our first dental visit page walks you through what to expect.

We’ll confirm your United Concordia Dental benefits before you arrive.
