Yes. We are in-network with Aetna dental PPO plans. Aetna offers several dental products, and they don’t all work the same way. A PPO plan lets you use in-network dentists at negotiated fees, while HMO-style plans usually require an assigned dentist. Discount programs that use the Aetna Dental Access network are not insurance at all. Bring your child’s card and we’ll tell you which type you have.
Most Aetna PPO plans cover preventive visits — exams and cleanings and digital X-rays — at or near 100%. Basic care such as tooth-colored fillings is often covered around 70–80%, and major work like crowns for baby teeth is often closer to 50%. These are general ranges, not a promise: deductibles, annual maximums, and frequency limits vary by plan.
